In the heartfelt and moving clip, Ruby began by telling her fans, “I’m better. I’ve been really bad for a long time.

“I want to be honest with everyone. I’ve been struggling. I’m in the hospital right now and I’ll be discharged soon and I hope to be able to get on with my life,” he said.

“I’m going to take a break from myself and encourage others. If you’re struggling, do yourself a favor and take a break. Stop being so hard on yourself.”

Describing how she felt, Ruby said, “I was full of rage, angry, all this intergenerational trauma was hiding inside me. I was carrying the weight of the world on my back and now I’m at the point where I have a diagnosis, I’m drawing a line in the sand.

“I can’t go on like this, I have to change because that’s what I’m trying to do.”

She continued to thank her friends and family, as well as Netflix for “saving her and giving her a chance.”

“I want to survive and I will survive, I will,” he said.

Ruby’s character, Marina, became engaged to Colin Bridgerton in the first series, despite being secretly pregnant.

They never got to the hallway and he was heartbroken when she ended up married to Phillip Crane.
