Ruby Barker revealed she has been discharged from hospital after a “mental health struggle” while sharing a video on Instagram on Monday.
The 25-year-old actress, who plays Marina Thompson in Bridgerton, said she “can’t wait for the future” while assuring that “she’s doing well on her own”, having previously admitted that she’s had been “hungry” since starring in the series.
Speaking frankly from a retreat in nature, he began, “I can’t wait for the future. I’m fine with myself. I’m in a beautiful environment right now to take a moment for myself and relax and breathe. .

“Going outdoors, walking, talking to loved ones, trying not to be ostracized is a big step.

The Islington native thanked the facility’s medical staff, friends and family, and Bridgerton executive producer Shonda Rhimes.
Claiming that she had been in contact with her co-star of the highly successful Netflix, Claudia Jessie, Ruby revealed the suggestions she received.

On Friday, Ruby explained that she was “taking a short break” after being hospitalized during her “fight for mental health” in a cute video Thursday.
The actress added that she had been “fighting since Bridgerton”, but that she now wants to “go on with her life”.
On Instagram, Ruby addressed her followers on the honest clip while thanking her fans and family for their support, as well as Netflix for “saving her.”

She started, “I’m better, I’ve been really bad for a long time. I want to be honest with everyone. I’ve been struggling.
“I am in the hospital at the moment and I will be discharged soon and I hope to be able to continue with my life.
“I’m going to take a break from myself and encourage others. If you’re struggling, do yourself a favor and take a break. Stop being so hard on yourself.”
Explaining her feelings, she continued: “I was full of rage, angry, all this intergenerational trauma was hiding inside me.
‘I was carrying the weight of the world on my back and now I’m at the point where I have a diagnosis, I’m drawing a line in the sand.
“I can’t go on like this, I have to change because that’s what I’m trying to do. I want to survive and I’ll survive, I’ll do it.
Ruby concluded the video by thanking her friends and family, as well as streaming service Netflix, for giving her a chance and “saving” her.
