THE ANGELS –
Britney Spears’ ex-husband crashed her wedding site in Southern California, according to authorities.
Ventura County Sheriff’s Captain Cameron Henderson said officers responded to an intrusion call after 2 p.m. Thursday. She says the pop singer’s first husband, Jason Alexander, was arrested at the ceremony site.
Henderson says Alexander was arrested after officers noticed he had an arrest warrant in another county.
Alexander went to his Instagram live when he approached the security of the event. In what appeared to be a mostly empty but decorated room, he told them that Spears had invited him.
“She’s my first wife, my only wife,” said Alexander, who briefly married his childhood friend Spears in 2014. Their marriage only lasted 55 hours.
“I’m her first husband,” she continued in the video. “I’m here to crash the wedding.”
Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two children, ages 14 and 15.
Spears and her fiancé Sam Asghari were expected to get married on Thursday. The couple announced their engagement almost nine months ago, after Asghari proposed to her with a four-carat diamond ring.
The couple met on the set of the music video “Slumber Party” in 2016.
A Spears representative did not immediately return a request for comment.
Authorities are still investigating the alleged rape.
