Brock Lesnar is set to make an appearance on SmackDown as part of the build-up to his big SummerSlam clash with Roman Reigns. The two are scheduled to meet in a Last Man Standing Match at the Summer Fest with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the line.
The news of Vince McMahon’s departure comes just hours after it was announced that Triple H has been re-appointed head of talent relations.
John Laurinaitis, who previously held the position, was placed on “administrative leave” in June following allegations of serious misconduct. Laurinaitis was temporarily replaced by Bruce Prichard.
