BTS’s J-Hope has been added as headliner for this year’s Lollapalooza festival, which will take place at Chicago’s Grant Park from July 28-31. J-Hope will close the festival on Sunday, July 31, making history as the first South Korean artist to headline the main stage of a major U.S. music festival.
Lollapalooza also announced that K-pop group Tomorrow x Together has joined the lineup on Saturday, July 30, marking their debut at the festival in the United States.

J-Hope joins a line-up alongside co-headliners Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. The additions of J-Hope and Tomorrow x Together come when Doja Cat has canceled several of her performances at the summer festival, including Lollapalooza and her Weeknd Tour career, due to throat health complications. . The singer posted a note on Twitter on May 20 explaining her absence and confirming that she would undergo tonsil surgery and would need time to recover.
Last year, Lollapalooza also took place in Grant Park and left its mark as one of the first major festivities to return after the pandemic stops.
