Calgary police say they have exhausted all traditional methods of identifying the body of a dead man who was found in the Bow River in June.
“While it is believed that his death is not criminal, we are publishing a composite sketch in the hope of generating information that could lead to his identification and notification of his relatives,” police said in a statement Monday. press.
The man, believed to be between 30 and 50 years old, was found on June 12 on the east side of the Bow River, about 100 meters south of the Calf Robe Bridge.

The Calgary Fire Department was called in to retrieve the body and the Chief Forensic Office ruled that the death was not suspicious.

Police said they estimate the man was about six feet four inches tall, weighed about 245 pounds and was bald or had a shaved head. The CPS believes the man was homeless before his death.
