Everton injury news ahead of their Premier League game against West Ham United.
Everton return to action when they host West Ham United at Goodison Park on Sunday (2.15pm BST).
The Toffees, like all Premier League clubs, did not play last weekend with their trip to Arsenal postponed due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Frank Lampard’s side are now targeting their first Premier League win of the 2022-23 season against the Hammers.
Everton will use their extra time on the training ground wisely, while giving those on the treatment table more time to return to fitness.
We take a look at the injury list at Goodison and when players can return to action.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin

The striker broke down with a knee injury in training on the eve of the Premier League season.
As a result, Calvert-Lewin has not made a single appearance this season.
Lampard confirmed after the derby that the England international was due to return to training last week.
He said: “Dominic will be training next week, hopefully. We’ll have good options at that point.
“Dominic is a great player for us. I haven’t experienced him as much as I would like, but I had one of the best days of my life when he ran the ball last year.
“We understand what he can bring to the team. Hopefully we can get him fit and fire him and then our options look stronger naturally because he’s an England striker.”
Calvert-Lewin is back among his teammates at Finch Farm and will benefit from the extra time.

Abdoulaye Doucoure
The midfielder picked up a hamstring problem in Everton’s 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa in August.
Doucoure returned to training earlier this month but was not risked for the Liverpool game.
Lampard said: “Doucoure trained today but it’s his first day of training with the group so he won’t be in the squad tomorrow.”

Garner is not injured but, unlike fellow signing Idrissa Gana Gueye, was not involved against Liverpool due to a lack of fitness.
On Garner’s condition, Lampard said after Liverpool’s draw: “James has had a bit of an uncertain two weeks leaving Manchester United and then coming to us.
“He has not been able to train at a level. I talked to him yesterday and he decided he needed at least a good week.
Garner will now have had two solid weeks to improve his fitness level.

Jordan Pickford
The No. 1 goalkeeper injured his thigh against Liverpool.
A club statement said: “Jordan Pickford picked up a thigh injury against Liverpool on Saturday.
“The England international has undergone medical investigations this week and is not expected to return to action until after the next international break.”
Southampton (A), Saturday 1 October or Man Utd (H), Sunday 9 October.
Andy Lonergan
Goalkeeper number 3 has a knee problem.
As a result, Everton signed Eldin Jakupovic on a short-term deal to provide cover in the goalkeeping department.
Jakupovic’s announcement read: “Lonergan is expected to be sidelined for the next several weeks as he completes his recovery from a knee injury.”
Mason Holgate

The defender went off with a knee injury in Everton’s 1-1 draw at Brentford last month.
Holgate wore a knee brace on the sidelines ahead of the Merseyside derby.
Lampard was hopeful that Holgate would not be available for too long.
He said: “He’s opened up his knee and felt a bit of pain so we’ll scan him in the next day or so.
“The feeling is that it will be weeks, at the most, hopefully, but it might take him out of the next couple of games. I don’t want to jump the gun too much on this, but hopefully it’s not a really bad injury.”
Yerry Mina

The Colombian international suffered damage to his ankle ligament on the opening day of the season against Chelsea.
Lampard, via The Times, revealed that Mina would be unavailable for eight weeks.
This aligns with information on Everton’s website, which says the former Barcelona defender should be back to fitness in October.
Ben Godfrey

The England international was unlucky when he fractured his leg making a strong tackle in the first half of Chelsea’s defeat.
Godfrey was forced out on a stretcher.
The versatile defender spoke to Everton’s pre-match show ahead of the Merseyside derby about his recovery.
Godfrey said: “Mentally it’s tough. As players football is all we know so it’s hard to deal with but I’m lucky to have good people at the Club, my teammates, family, friends .Everyone has held me, reminding me that this is only a temporary thing and that I will be back soon.
“When will I come back? I’m playing it by ear. It’s going to be a couple of months, but I’m just taking each day at a time and when it’s right, it’s going to be right.”
Andros Townsend

The experienced winger suffered an ACL injury against Crystal Palace in March and has been unavailable since.
Townsend told talkSPORT at the end of June: “I’m in the gym at the moment, hitting the gym trying to strengthen the knee and the muscles around the knee.
“Hopefully when pre-season starts I’ll be back on the grass at some point and I’m still a few months away.
“The standard for an ACL injury is 6 to 9 months. I’m almost at three months, so I’m about half or a third of the way there.”
