Cambridge kids are having a busy platinum jubilee weekend. To celebrate her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, they made their debut with the Trooping the Color carriage this year, stole the show on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and the two greats, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, enjoyed from the platinum party to the palace.
On the last day of the celebration weekend, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared on their social media channels that children stay involved in the festivities. “Making cakes for the local community of Cardiff to enjoy at a party on Platinum Jubilee Street taking place today! We hope you like them!” wrote on Twitter and Instagram, sharing seven photos of children and the Duchess of Cambridge cooking in a kitchen:

In the photos, the three children can be seen standing in their chairs to get a better view of the dough in a blender. In one, Charlotte pours flour into a bowl while her older brother, George, watches, and Louis is in the background, focused on the standing mixer. In other photos, Charlotte holds an egg on a bowl, and Louis is very focused on sifting the flour.

In the sweetest images in the video, the three children are standing on the cupcakes while Kate holds the ice cream in a pastry shop, and George, Charlotte, and Louis grab sprinkles to decorate the cupcakes. The royal children seem to be absolutely delighted with the cooking project, and Kate is delighted with her children.

Cambridge’s kitchen was decorated for the festive occasion of baking, with a Union Jack pennant in the background of all the photos and blue hydrangeas near the kitchen. The cupcake liners also featured the Union Jack flag, and the sprinkles appeared to be all red, white, and blue.
Today, some lucky attendees at Cardiff’s Platinum Jubilee Street party will be able to sample the work of the royal children. In the UK, parties have been held on Platinum Jubilee Street to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. According to the Independent, ten million people across the country are expected to take part in parties and other celebrations to celebrate.
