Cameron Green has played another key entry for Australia as he seeks to build a lead in the first inning against Sri Lanka, but was sacked again before reaching the triple figures on the second day of the first test.
This evasive ton of maiden test continues to evade the young multipurpose, as LBW was caught in 77 on spinner Ramesh Mendis.
The 23-year-old quickly reviewed the decision, but the video review system could not save him.

It is now the fifth time in his young Test career that Green is fired with a century in sight.
He was caught by 84 against India at the SCG early last year, before consecutive results of 74 at Sydney and Hobart at The Ashes earlier this year, and was thrown by 79 at Lahore against Pakistan.

The common denominator in all of these cases was the importance of once they turned out to be. Aside from that first instance against India, all of these turned out to be key contributions, even to Galle, with Australia falling to 4-100 when Green reached the fold.
The combination of Green’s Bulls and Khawaja brought Australia over 150, before the latter was sacked by 71. Valuable blows from Alex Carey and Pat Cummins followed, the skipper hitting one of the six biggest you’ll ever see in the test cricket.
The fans were stunned when, after that shot, the game was stopped by bad light.
Australia left the field with an 8-313, with a 101-run lead after two days of play. We are likely to see more swordsmen from Cummins and Nathan Lyon on the third day, before Sri Lanka beat again to try to save the test.
