Camilla has revealed how strong her marriage to Prince Charles is, her fears for her grandchildren, and how she is a secret Wordle addict.
The Duchess of Cornwall took a fascinating look behind the scenes of her royal life in a revealing new interview with British Vogue.
The 74-year-old, who has spent much of the last 30 years in public, raised the bar about what her life is like and how she maintains her relationship with the future king.
In statements to the magazine, she said that despite her incredibly busy schedules, she and her husband always try to make time for each other.
Camilla said balancing work with her marriage “is sometimes not easy”, but she and her 17-year-old husband make sure to “sit down together and have a cup of tea and talk about the day”.
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, lifted the lid on her life in an interview with British Vogue ahead of her 75th birthday.
He revealed that the secret to maintaining his marriage to Prince Charles, pictured here together in November 2015, was to make sure they made time for each other at least once a day.
She said, “You know, when we leave, the best thing is for us to sit down and read our books in different places in the same room.”
He told the magazine that the first years of his relationship with the prince “were not easy” due to the negative reaction of the public.
She told Vogue, “I’ve been examined for so long that you just have to find a way to live. No one likes to be looked at all the time and, you know, criticized. But I think In the end, I get on with it and move on. You have to move on with your life.
In the nearly two decades that have followed, her popularity has grown, and earlier this year, the queen confirmed that she wants her new daughter-in-law to become queen consort when Charles becomes king.
Camilla gave the interview before her 75th birthday later this year, and joked with a photographer who regretted having to take pictures of an “old bat.”
He considers the family important, with photos of loved ones adorning his desk at Clarence House, including one of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their wedding day.
In addition to her royal grandchildren, Camilla also has five grandchildren from her son and daughter, Tom and Laura, whom she had with her ex-husband.
He says he spoils his grandchildren, who are between 12 and 14 years old, but is sometimes surprised.
“Girls start getting dressed and made up and, you know, it’s pretty scary when you see them, they come out with pierced ears and a lot of new makeup and fun colored hair and stuff,” she said. .

He added that every day he compares his Wordle score to that of his granddaughter, adding that he loves “telling you how brilliant you are,” and boasted that he had even gotten a score of two before.
During the interview, he also raised the key to the work that supportive domestic violence charities do to help women in abusive relationships.
“I think we all know someone who’s been through it,” Camilla said.
“I was listening to it too often, from friends who knew friends, and I thought maybe I should look at it to see if there was any place to help me.
“There has been a taboo like this. People can still love people who mistreat them, and feel so much guilt and shame that they think it’s their fault, so they bury it.
“It becomes a kind of terrible hidden secret.”
Camilla said she would continue to support domestic abuse charities after she was promoted to Queen Consort because “you can’t let go of the things you’re in the middle of.”
She added that as a feminist, she loves to see women gain confidence before “waving the flag” for their gender.

Meghan Markle was cheering on her husband from the edge of the polo field on Friday, while Prince Harry’s team was fighting in vain for a place in the final of their league.
Dressed casually in a denim shirt and shorts, with Greek-style leather flat sandals, the Duchess of Sussex watched the match intently.
She looked excited as she continued the game, lemonade in hand.
The 37-year-old Prince joined the Los Padres polo team in May as Harry Wales, and has spent the last few weeks playing alongside his teammates.
The team, which competes in the Inter-Circuit Cup of the Pacific Coast Circuit, was founded by Nacho Figueras, 45, an Argentine polo professional and model, and a longtime friend of the prince.
It came when friends revealed last night how Prince William is still in the “bottom” due to a broken bond with his brother.

Harry, 37, has been playing for Los Padres polo team since May, a few miles from Montecito’s home, but today’s game did not go well for the team.

Figueras, who has a handicap of five – out of a maximum of 10 – is the most experienced player on the team.

She was also seen hugging Figueras.
Harry’s team played in the semifinals against the Folded Hills team.
They hoped to win until Sunday’s final, but eventually lost the game.
Meanwhile, William’s friends raised the key to the brothers’ relationship, which has been strained in recent years.
