Sidney Days and Canada Day
Start the festivities today at Beacon Park with opening ceremonies and live music from The Bankes Brothers starting at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks.
Canada Day events continue Friday. The Sydney Lions host their pancake breakfast at the Mary Winspear Center at 8 p.m. The Canada Day parade begins at 11:30 a.m. and follows the family fun fair at Iroquois Park. Canada Day 2022 presented by Central Walk, Friday at Ship Point in Inner Harbor with various performances focused locally. The main stage, starring Jesse Roper, features Garret T. Willie, Don Alder, Capital City Syncopators, Claire Coupland, Victoria Children’s Choir and the Wong Sheung Kung Fu Club Chinese Lion Dancers, performances by the Veselka Ukrainian Dancers and the Kalyna Ukrainian Choir.
