The fight between Warriors fans and Charles Barkley seemed to reach a new level on Thursday night.
Once Golden State defeated the Dallas Mavericks in the fifth game of the Western Conference Finals, post-game coverage began on TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” with Warriors fans appearing to throw yellow shirts at and Barkley.
Barkley, who originally chose the Mavericks to win the series, then approached the railing, where he watched a sea of San Francisco fans as his colleagues Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson told him that ‘assegués.

Earlier in the day, Barkley was also flooded with processions from Warriors fans who chanted, “Chuck you suck!” outside the Chase Center, with Shaquille O’Neal also appearing to be involved in the action.
The Warriors defeated the Mavericks 120-110 with Klay Thompson of Golden State with 32 points. Golden State will face the Miami Heat or the Boston Celtics, the latter of whom currently have a 3-2 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Game 6 between the Celtics and the Heat begins Friday night in Boston.

Meanwhile, Barkley noted after the game that he is not sure what will happen next for the Mavericks, who only defeated the Warriors once in the series.
“They won’t be better than Denver … The Lakers will do anything. They won’t be better than the Warriors,” Barkley said, according to Clutch Points. “My favorite next year will be the Clippers.”
