Climate in Perth: sunny days and cold mornings when the metropolitan area enters a “stable pattern”

Sunny days and cold mornings.

This sums up Perth’s weather forecast for next week.

Meteorological Bureau meteorologist Jessica Lingard said the metropolitan area is in a “very very stable” weather pattern right now, meaning the weather “won’t change much” until at least next Monday.

“Today is a beautiful day,” he said.

“We are observing similar conditions with impressive days over the weekend.”

But with the sky clear, cold mornings arrive.

Perth dropped to 6.4 ºC on Tuesday morning, and it won’t get much hotter in the early hours for a while with the low hovering around 7 ºC.

It is still a long way from the coldest morning in Perth: on June 4 we hit bottom at 3.1 degrees Celsius.

A cold front will be installed on Monday afternoon, with chances of up to 5mm of rain on Tuesday.
