WA Health reports a total of 3,239 new cases as of 6pm last night. There are currently 20,872 active cases in Western Australia.
As of 6pm last night, there were 351 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 14 in ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes one death, which was reported to WA Health yesterday, dating back to July 31, a man in his 40s.

Of the 3,239 cases, 1,107 were confirmed by PCR testing, the remaining 2,132 were self-reported positive antigen rapid tests.
A total of 6,257 PCR tests were carried out yesterday in public or private pathology clinics.
WA has recorded 1,082,485 cases since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
