WA Health reports a total of 4,802 new cases as of 8pm last night. There are currently 38,693 active cases in Western Australia.
As of 8pm last night, there were 253 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 7 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes two new deaths dating back to June 5 that were reported yesterday to WA Health; two women about 80 years old.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the Department will not provide further information on such cases.

Notes
- These data are based on the residential zip code of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.
- The remaining reported daily cases (59) do not yet have an assigned region. The data will continue to be reconfigured as this information is verified.
Of the 4,802 cases, 1,138 were confirmed by PCR testing, the remaining 3,664 were rapid self-reported positive antigen tests.
A total of 4,993 PCR tests were performed yesterday in public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 819,864 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
