WA Health reports a total of 7,092 new cases as of 8:00 pm last night. There are currently 46,372 active cases in Western Australia.
As of 8pm last night, there were 275 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 9 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes six new deaths dating back to May 21 that were reported yesterday at WA Health; two women in their 90s; two women in their 80s; and two men in their 80s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the Department will not provide further information on such cases.

Notes
- These data are based on the residential zip code of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.
- The remaining reported daily cases (89) do not yet have an assigned region. The data will continue to be reconfigured as this information is verified.
Of the 7,092 cases, 2,794 were confirmed by PCR testing, the remaining 4,298 were rapid self-reported positive antigen tests.
A total of 8,637 PCR tests were performed yesterday in public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 759,435 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
