WA Health reports a total of 6,649 new cases as of 8pm last night. There are currently 58,685 active cases in Western Australia.
As of 8pm last night, there were 317 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 10 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes four deaths, dating back to May 17, that were reported yesterday to WA Health: a man in his 60s, a man and a woman in his 70s and a woman in about 90.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the Department will not provide further information on such cases.

- These data are based on the residential zip code of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.
- The remaining reported daily cases (60) do not yet have an assigned region. The data will continue to be reconfigured as this information is verified.
Of the 6,649 cases, 2,014 were confirmed by PCR testing, the remaining 4,635 were rapid self-reported positive antigen tests.
A total of 7,566 PCR tests were performed yesterday in public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 727,713 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
