The Alberta RCMP says officers are investigating the cause of a collision between a motorcycle and a van that sent a man to the hospital.
Airdrie RCMP and emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident on Highway 566 and Range Road 13 at approximately 1:30 p.m.
When they arrived, police found that the driver of a motorcycle, a 39-year-old man, had been seriously injured.
The STARS air ambulance took him to a life-threatening Calgary Hospital.
The crossroads reopened in all directions shortly after 4.30pm
