The star surprised viewers by announcing that they would be away from TV screens for an important period.
David Koch will be out for three weeks for his daughter’s wedding in London.
The Sunrise star told viewers on Thursday that she would pause to enjoy the special moment with her family.
Koch, a father of four, seemed delighted as she shared the happy news.
“Georgie is getting married, the last of the four, so she’ll be fine,” he said.
He added that he would share a house with the parents of his future son-in-law Alex while in the UK.
“We’re all sharing a house with him and his parents before the wedding and we’ve never met,” Koch said.
“It’s going to be Father Of The Bride or Nightmare On Elm Street. It’s going to be a little fun.”
In addition to having four children, Koch and his wife Libby have eight grandchildren.
