Dele Alli has been hit by football fans on social media after a horror flick from a backyard in the Toffees ’shocking defeat to Minnesota United.
The Everton midfielder managed to spin the ball to the post from the center of the goal with the MLS goalkeeper stranded after the ball came in from the right, before Alli sank to the ground, apparently out of embarrassment.
The foul came with the score at 3-0 in Minnesota with about 20 minutes left to play, but Alli could not save his blush at Everton as he fell to a sad 4-0 defeat in his preseason tour.

Football fans quickly went to Twitter to get in, many claimed that Alli has finished as a professional footballer and compared his recent performances to the impressive displays he regularly did for Tottenham a few years ago.
One Twitter user said, “This guy has fallen so badly I can’t surround him.” The kind of goals he scored for us and is he now struggling with the corks? It is sad to see the man.
Another added: “We tried to warn you earlier this month. It’s just not good anymore. I hate to see it.

A third Twitter user, an Everton fan, tried to nail the fan to the foul, saying, “To be fair, a great office, no, wait a minute.”
Another user added, “The saddest fall ever.”
And a fifth simply stated, “It’s over.”
Alli’s terrible absence sums up his downfall of one of the country’s top offensive midfielders at such a young age in a Premier League failure.
The midfielder scored an impressive volley against Crystal Palace in 2016, which made both experts and fans label him as a sensation in his break-up season under Mauricio Pochettino.
But after falling further and further down north London, his misery was finally ended and he was granted a free transfer to Everton in January, hoping for a fresh start.
And it doesn’t look like the move has had the rejuvenating effect many would have expected, and in a World Cup year, Alli is perhaps further away from Gareth Southgate’s plans than ever.
