Details of the release of Skull and Bones appear online

Another day, another leak of Ubisoft’s release date. This time, it is the details of the long-awaited release of Skull and Bones that have appeared.

Details taken from a list in the Xbox Store indicate that Skull and Bones has the usual range of pre-order bonuses, as well as premium items for an edition that includes a soundtrack and an art book.

A release date was also seen, November 8, 2022, thanks to the regular watchdog of the Aggiornamenti Lumia store, and was later verified by serial filter Tom Henderson.

After a long and prolonged development, Ubisoft previously confirmed that Skull and Bones would finally be released sometime this year.

In late April, test images of the game appeared online, which Ubisoft later acknowledged.

Except for an alpha version of the game, the four-minute video tutorial showed a quick look at how it will be played.

“You will start your journey as a disadvantaged whose goal is to become the most famous pirate to navigate these waters,” the video explained.

Future pirates will do this by increasing your infamy, achieved by making contracts, exploring, looting, and conducting treasure hunts. The greater your infamy, the more opportunities are available.

As with Sea of Thieves, persistent online multiplayer will keep players alert, with others able to fight you and grab your dropped treasure.

Ships can be expanded and rested in ports, where you can also customize your character. Ship battles seem to be a basic part of the game, although the morale of the crew will be exhausted over time by repeated defeats, possibly going down in riot.

With the game’s release date seemingly revealed, we look forward to hearing more from Ubisoft soon.

A release date for Ubisoft Sparks of Hope’s Mario + Rabbids appeared online yesterday, just hours before it was officially confirmed on the latest Nintendo Direct.
