Doja Cat has criticized actor Noah Schnapp for sharing his private messages on TikTok.
Earlier this week, Schnapp, 17, shared an exchange between him and the 26-year-old singer, where he asked her to call her Stranger Things co-star Joseph Quinn “hmu.” [hit me up]”.

In the exchange, which Schnapp has removed from TikTok, Doja wrote, “Noah, can you tell Joseph that hmu? Wait no. Do you have a girlfriend?”
After Schnapp encouraged her to “slip into her DMs,” Doja responded, “I don’t know her Instagram or Twitter. She doesn’t have any DMs to introduce herself to.”

During an Instagram Live on Thursday (July 7), Doja said he “did not feel comfortable” with Schnapp sharing the information in public, describing the move as “socially unconscious and wrong.”
“First, we try to be calm,” Doja said. “To be fair, this is like a kid. Noah, I don’t know how old he is, but he’s not even over 21.

“When you’re so young, you make mistakes, you do silly shit. I’m trying to be super fair. You do silly shit, you say silly shit. It was relationships with people. You make mistakes. You’re supposed to do things like that because you know i won’t do it in the future.I did my shit part so he wouldn’t fuck me again.
“But the fact that Noah did this, as he went and posted a private conversation between him and me, is incredibly like a social unconscious and a blow. That’s like borderline snake shit. That’s like weasel shit. “.
She added, “I’m not saying this encapsulates his whole personality. I wouldn’t imagine it to be. Maybe it is, like a whole snake. But I didn’t see it that way. I assumed it would calm him down and he went and he shared information that I was not comfortable sharing with him.
Schnapp hasn’t responded to Doja’s comments yet.
Quinn has grown in popularity after her role in the fourth season of Stranger Things. A scene at the end, where his character Eddie Munson plays Metallica’s ‘Master of Puppets’ theme, was recently praised by the band itself.
In May this year, Doja announced that she had to cancel all of her 2022 live dates, including the festival shows and her tour with The Weeknd, to recover from tonsil surgery.
