The Richmond RCMP said officers received a report of gunfire around 11 a.m.
Officers arrived and found two people dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.
“Based on the research theory at this early stage, this does not appear to be a random act,” the chief said. Adriana O’Malley said in an email.
“Police are currently in the process of collecting evidence.”
