Alex Pereira’s left hook knocked out Israel Adesanya once and helped finish off Sean Strickland in UFC 276.
Former GLORY champion Pereira took a step closer to a title shot against his kickboxing enemy on two occasions, stopping Strickland with a left hook and a right hand at 2:36 of the starting box.
Strickland ranks No. 4 in the UFC middleweight rankings and number one in the MMA Fighting Global Rankings. With his convincing victory, he will jump to the middleweight rankings, and most likely to the title contest.
