A man has died after being found in flames in a park in east London. Central Park, East Ham remains cordoned off this morning (Thursday, June 2) after being found early.
Police arrived at the scene at 2.20am after being called by the London Fire Brigade. Unfortunately, he died at the scene. At this early stage, death is being treated as inexplicable while the circumstances of his death are being investigated.
A Newham Council spokesman said: “Central Park, East Ham is closed until further notice due to a police incident. Newham Council officers are in contact with the Metropolitan Police.”
