Dear Australian radio hosts Fitzy and Wippa were surprised to receive a curious package on the air this morning from none other than megastar Ed Sheeran.
Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald of Nova and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli can now say they have something in common with Elton John; a giant marble penis from Ed Sheeran.
The radio stars were delighted to receive a surprise gift from the British megastar on Wednesday morning, unpacking the mysterious package in the air to reveal a pair of matching marble penises painted green and gold.
Sheeran, 31, had fulfilled a promise in a recent interview about the similar phallic statue he gave Elton John for his 74th birthday, and also offered to send one to the hosts. New.
Turns out he wasn’t making a beacon, and the two are now taking home their own Australian-themed versions.
“He’s a giant idiot in a box!” Wippa exclaimed happily as his co-host pulled the stone appendix out of his box, joking, “It looks a little like you!” while Fitzy struggled with her size.
Posing for the photos afterwards, the couple were smiling as they waved their gifts.

“How do we thank Ed Sheeran? Shall we send her a giant vagina?” Wippa added to the moans of his colleagues.
“It’s huge!” added.
On Instagram to express their gratitude, Fitzy and Wippa wrote, “We can’t thank you enough Ed,” labeling the pop star.
Meanwhile, fellow breakfast announcer Sarah McGilvray didn’t seem so impressed, calling the sculpture “disgusting” and “pretty horrible” amidst the excitement.
Elton John spoke to him Carrie and Tommy show about Sheeran’s unusual gift last year.
“I don’t know if that’s because I’ve always been ap *** ko what. It’s very big, it’s very well done,” he said at the time.
Music legend said the statue was “hidden” outside her children’s home with husband David Furnish.
Apparently, Fitzy and Wippa will choose to show theirs in a place of pride.
