Elden Ring for perfect cooperation, new generation exploration is approaching

A modder is currently working on a new Elden Ring mod that will bring perfect cooperation to the latest FromSoftware title.

The modification was created by LukeYui, and although Elden Ring already supports cooperation, the new modification will allow players to further explore the Land Between, as players joining a friend will no longer be limited to bosses or certain zones. The mod is expected to go into public beta on May 27, and as shown in the video above, players can receive shared rewards from enemies, participate in PvP, and even see the other player if they have death.

While many Elden Ring gamers are excited about the upcoming mod, there is a fairly large group of players against its incorporation because the mod does not support any of the online services from FromSoftware, which means that invasions are not possible. If many of Elden Ring’s player base download the mod, it will separate the total player base into players who play Elden Ring “offline” with the mod and those who are available for an invasion through online services. from FromSoftware.

Basically, people who enjoy invading other people will have fewer players to invade, as players who want a full cooperative experience are likely to have modified their game.

LukeYui recently gave some answers to many popular questions about the mod.

Q) Can the mod ban me?

A) No, the mod does not connect to matchmaking servers and does not use FromSoftware’s online services and therefore cannot be banned from using it.

Q) What is the player’s cap?

A) The maximum number of players in a group is 4 (1 host + 3 guests). Raising the player limit beyond that is beyond the scope of this project.

Q) Are there invasions?

A) No, there are no invasions. You can PvP with members of your group if you want to use an item to change the friendly fire mode.

Q) How do articles work?

A) The items are unique to each player. If the head drops a bag of talismans, for example, everyone will receive it. The same applies to articles in the world and to enemy falls.

Q) How do places of grace / bonfires work?

A) If a player sits in a place of grace anywhere in the world, an enemy / world reset will occur for each player. If a player is fighting an unopened world leader at this time, he will be placed outside the wall of fog again and the fight will restart.

Q) Is progress shared?

A) Yes, progress is shared. But it only applies to actions you take while you’re in a player’s world; for example, if you start a new character and join a player to kill a boss at the end of the game, only that boss will be dead in your world and you will not inherit everything. the progress of the other player you had before you joined.

Q) How does it work with anti-trap?

A) It does not, the mod uses a standalone launcher that runs the game without launching Easy Anti-Cheat.

Q) Can I use other modifications?

A) Yes, but for regulations / params file edits all party members must have them active for them to be visible. (for example, if only 1 player uses a random, it will only work for that player).
