Elementary school issues warning after “middle-aged man invites children to car”

An elementary school has issued a warning to parents following reports of a man asking children to get into his car near school doors. In a letter to parents on Friday, Rhydypenau School in Llanishen, Cardiff, said it had been informed of concerns about an incident outside another primary school, Llanishen Fach in Rhiwbina. The letter read: “We would like to inform everyone of an incident that took place yesterday after school in the area around Llanishen Fach Primary School.

“This morning we received several complaints about a suspicious vehicle that approached some of our students on the way home yesterday. The vehicle has been described as a transport of black people driven by a middle-aged man. The driver intimidated verbally the students and asked them to get in their car. The incident has been reported to 101 “.
