Elon Musk allegedly had a “brief fling” with Sergey Brin’s wife, Nicole Shanahan.
The 51-year-old business mogul, who split from pop singer Grimes in September 2021 after three years of dating, had an affair with the Google co-founder’s wife in December 2021 that eventually led to their divorce, sources close to the matter said. the Wall Street Journal.
The alleged affair would also have occurred near the time Elon – who has a total of 10 children from various relationships – welcomed daughter Exa Dark, now seven months old, with the ‘Oblivion’ hitmaker.

The WSJ also explained that as a result of the affair, the Tesla founder — who was close friends with Sergey for several years and is believed to have loaned him about $500,000 during the 2008 financial crisis — and the his billionaire partner. he is allegedly no longer speaking and Sergey intends to sell his personal investments in the Elon companies.
The WSJ reports: “In recent months, there has been growing tension between the two men and their teams, according to people familiar with the matter. Mr. Brin has directed his financial advisers to sell his personal investments in Mr. Musk’s companies, some of these people said. It was not immediately clear how large those investments are or whether there have been any sales.”

The outlet claimed it had contacted all parties involved for comment on the alleged affair, but all requests went unanswered.
In January 2022, Sergey, who was also previously married to Anne Wojcicki and has Benji, 13, and Chloe, 11, cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and noted that on December 15 2021 was their official separation date.
News of the alleged affair comes just weeks after lawyer Nicole claimed she hoped to emerge from the divorce with “dignity, honesty and harmony”.
She said: “I hope that Sergey and I will move forward with dignity, honesty and harmony for the sake of our son. And we are both working to achieve this…”
