Elon Musk intervenes in the trial of former Amber Heard

Elon Musk has 13 words to say about the trial of his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard against Johnny Depp.

Billionaire Elon Musk has praised his ex-girlfriend Amber Heard’s legal battle with Johnny Depp as the jury began deliberations after presenting the final arguments in court.

The Tesla founder, who allegedly dated Heard while she was married to Depp, tweeted on Saturday about the high-profile trial of Hollywood stars.

“I hope they both move on. At their best, they are all amazing,” he tweeted.

The founder of Tesla and Space X was accused by Depp of having a trio with model Cara Delevingne and Heard at his Los Angeles home while out of filming, a claim the billionaire has denied.

Musk also became a point of contention in the trial when former Depp agent Christian Carino took the position.

Carino, who was previously engaged to Lady Gaga, was asked if Musk and Heard were dating in 2016.

“I don’t know if they were dating, but they’ve definitely spent some time together,” he said.

Heard and Musk met on the set of Robert Rodriguez’s 2013 film Machete Killsbut the couple claimed they were just friends until they both ended their divorces in 2016 and 2017.

In August 2017, rumors erupted again that the couple’s alleged one-year romance had ended.

Musk confirmed the speculation shortly afterwards, telling fans that the breakup was friendly.

“Just to clear up some of the press storms this weekend, even though Amber and I broke up, we’re still friends, we’re still close and we love each other,” Musk tweeted.

He later added that “long-distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds.”

Musk’s tweet comes when the outcome of the trial is now in the hands of the jurors, who have begun deliberations after hearing explosive final arguments in court.

Attorneys for Depp, 58, and Heard, 36, filed their final jury appeals Friday, concluding a six-week trial between the celebrity couple in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Depp’s team argued that the actor was the victim of what they said were Heard’s false allegations of physical, sexual and psychological abuse, which destroyed his career and reputation.

Instead, Heard’s team called Depp “a monster” who not only abused his ex-wife, but continued a smear campaign after she filed for divorce.
