On Wednesday, mini-camps continued for much of the NFL, as many teams performed for the last time before training camps began in late July. But the big news of the day came from the teams that already finished the mini-camps, as the Pittsburgh Steelers made Minkah Fitzpatrick the highest paid security in NFL history with a four-year extension worth 18.4 millions of dollars per season. The Indianapolis Colts lost one of their starting lineups as Khari Willis retires after three seasons.
But there was also a lot of action on the training ground on Wednesday, as the Cleveland Browns made an approximately one-hour trip south to train at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, right next to Pro Football. Hall of Fame. The New York Jets offensive lineman Mekhi Becton also found a compelling way to respond to his critics.
This week is the busiest of the mini-camp season, as 17 teams are working. Last week, 12 teams competed in mini-camps, with the Miami Dolphins leading the way and the Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles opting not to have mandatory mini-camps.

The Steelers make Minkah Fitzpatrick the highest paid security in NFL history. Fitzpatrick begins his summer vacation with a good payday after reaching a deal to become the highest paid security in the NFL. The Steelers and their star safety have agreed to a four-year extension that will pay Fitzpatrick more than $ 18.4 million a year, Fitzpatrick agency WME Sports confirmed to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Fitzpatrick also received $ 36 million guaranteed in the signing, Schefter confirmed.
