As part of a presentation celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the Evercade retro hardware, Blaze today announced a new handheld version that includes a slew of improvements.
In addition to a significantly better screen with, among other things, a higher resolution and more computing power under the hood, which roughly corresponds to the US console model, there is also more internal memory and more manageable menu navigation. In addition, as with the controller, there are four instead of just two shoulder buttons and especially exciting for shoot’em up fans an integrated tate mode for all games that run in portrait format.
