Every ad in Summer Game Fest 2022

This is a wrapper from the third iteration of this year’s Summer Game Fest. If you missed it, we have a complete summary of all the games that were presented during the presentation of the team that brought you The Game Awards, organized by Geoff Keighley.

Prior to the show, the Summer Game Fest team confirmed a couple of the more than 30 games that would be present on the show. These titles included the revelation of the gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Gotham Knights, Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course, Nightingale, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, One Piece Odyssey, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Marvel’s Midnight Suns , Street. Fighters 6 and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Alongside these games is the first official look at the 2013 remake of The Last of Us, known as The Last of Us: Part I, which was leaked hours before the start of Summer Game Fest.

Overall, this year’s Summer Game Fest presentation was another good look at some already announced games with more specific dates on when they will arrive later this year and new ones next year also during the 90 minute presentation .

Here are all the highlights of everything that was announced during the Summer Game Fest.

Street Fighters 6 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series)

Release Date: TBA 2023

Street Fighter 6 is the next entry in Capcom’s iconic fighting game series to be released in 2023. At Summer Game Fest, FGC players anticipating the sixth main entry finally saw the game after a leaking the entire game list. earlier this week. The trailer officially confirms that Guile will arrive in the game along with returning characters like Ryu, Chun-Chi, the final character of Street Fighter V DLC, Luke and more, as well as new characters like Mimi, Jamie, Kimberly, JP and more.

Both veterans of fighting games and newcomers can participate in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with the modes of previous games in the series. In addition, the game will introduce two new modes: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the reach of communication and player involvement.

Aliens: Dark Descent (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series)

Next up at Summer Game Fest is Aliens: Dark Descent, a brand new horror game where players command a team of hardened colonial marines to stop a terrifying burst of xenomorphs at Moon Lethe. You’ll lead soldiers in real-time combat against iconic xenomorphs, rogue agents of the insatiable Weyland-Yutani Corporation, and a series of horrible creatures new to the Alien franchise.

Players will be able to command and customize their team with a selection of different classes. In addition, squad members will level up and gain unique abilities as well as an arsenal of weapons, armor, and perks as they delve deeper into enemy territory.

The Callisto protocol (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series)

Release date: December 2

Striking Distance Studios showed the first game show at the Summer Game Fest for their upcoming The Callisto Protocol, which featured some creepy moments from the game. The title is being worked on by veterans who previously worked on Dead Space games, including co-creator Glen Schofield. The Callisto protocol will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series on December 2nd.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series)

Release date: October 28

At Summer Game Fest, Activision showed the first gameplay revelation of the 2019 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare sequel with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. We took a look at a one-level game guide . Players anticipating the title will be able to experience how Task Force 141 became the “iconic, legendary team” we know.

The single player campaign will feature a variety of missions to Europe, Asia and America with well-known heroes and new allies. Flashback 2 (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch)

Flashback is … after 30 years in a new sci-fi action and adventure game. The iconic game has a new look to commemorate its 30th anniversary. This new 2.5D version of Flashback 2 follows Conrad’s victory over the “Master Brain” in the first game. Along with the Allies, Conrad once again confronts the Morphs, who threaten all civilizations. Solve this delicate and dangerous investigation through 5 action-packed levels and shootouts and fight the Morphs who are preparing a Machiavellian plan for total control of the solar system.

Witchfire (computer via early access)

Release Date: TBA

Witchfire is an upcoming dark fantasy first-person shooter from The Astronauts, the developers who created Painkiller, Bulletstorm and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Armed with strange weapons and forbidden pagan magic, hunt down a powerful witch who holds the key to your salvation.

Fort Solis (PC)

Release Date: TBA

Fort Solis is a third-person sci-fi thriller game. The story of the game focuses on the fate of two heroes: Jacek and Jessica. In response to an SOS signal from a nearby Mars research facility, Jack heads to the site to investigate. Tension and subsequent events begin to intertwine with a sandstorm that cuts the base of the world.

Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Uncharted, BioShock Infinite) plays Wyatt Taylor, a Fort Solis medical officer who is “sometimes in opposition” to Jack played by Roger Clark (Red Dead Redemption 2), an engineer maintenance that ensures that the equipment does not break down at a remote Martian mining site.

Routine (PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series)

Release Date: TBA

Routine is a first-person sci-fi horror game set in an abandoned lunar base. The aesthetics of the game are designed around a vision of the future of the 80’s. What begins as exploration becomes a necessity of survival when a lunar base is left completely silent. In search of answers, players face a well-known enemy. The discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way forward is to move forward.

Stormgate (PC)

Release Date: TBA

Stormgate is described as the “future of RTS” and is a free real-time strategy game from Starcraft 2 director Tim Morten of Frost Giant Studios developer founded in 2020. The title is set in the middle of a war between humanity and an attack by alien invaders. Players can take on the campaign alone or cooperatively in casual and competitive PvP and online co-op modes. Interested players can try out the game in beta starting next year.

Highwater (PC, iOS and Android)

Release Date: TBA 2022

Highwater is an upcoming Demagog Studio adventure strategy game where the player explores a flooded world devastated by climate change.

American Arcadia (PC, PS5 and Xbox Series)

Release Date: TBA

American Arcadia is a puzzle platform game by the developer of Call of the Sea, Raw Fury, set in a retro-futuristic utopia of the 70’s where citizens don’t know that they are contestants on the most watched reality show on the planet. Like Trevor Hills, discover the truth and escape with your transmitted life.

Goat Simulator 3 (PC, PS4, PS5 xbox

Release date: 2022

The developer Coffee Stain skips Goat Simulator 2 and enters directly into Goat Simulator 3 as the next game in its series of parody simulators. Gather your flock with a whole new “totally realistic” sand corral experience. Players can invite up to three friends to a local or online co-op game.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns (PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch)

Release Date: TBA 2022

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an upcoming tactical role-playing game from developer XCOM, Firaxis Games and Marvel Games. Players will put themselves in the shoes of the game’s original, customizable hero (over 40 different powers to choose from) known as “The Hunter”, who will be able to team up with various Marvel heroes, including the Avengers, X-Men and more. The game list includes Iron Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Blade, Ghost Rider, Magik, Nico Minoru and more. Midnight Suns will have a game similar to XCOM games.

The story of the game begins with the Hydra revived by Lilith, the mother of all demons after centuries. The Avengers try to take it on but fail, so they decide to team up with the Midnight Sons, made up of Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik and Ghost Rider, to take on the task together. Her advice is to get a former warrior who turns out to be Lilith’s abandoned child and the only one who has ever defeated the Mother of Demons, this is where “The Hunter” comes in to help the Marvel heroes. The trailer reveals that Lilith is recruiting demonized versions of Marvel characters such as Venom, Hulk and more, Spiderman also joins the game on the hero’s side.

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course (PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch)

Release date: June 30

Check out Cuphead’s upcoming DLC, The Delicious Last Course, before the release later this month. In it, the brothers Cuphead and Mugman join the intelligent and adventurous Mrs. Chalice for an exciting adventure on an island of inkwell hitherto undiscovered! Players will discover new weapons, magical charms and Mrs. Chalice’s unique abilities. Similar to the base game, the DLC has new cast heads for players to face in the final Cuphead quest.

Neon White (PC and Switch)
