Everything has been announced on Sony’s PlayStation State of Play

PlayStation gameplay is over! In case you missed it, here’s everything that was announced during the show, including all the trailers (if you were hoping to check out God of War Ragnarök, it might not have been surprising that it didn’t come out) .

State of Play began with the announcement of one of the worst kept secrets of all video games: the remake of Resident Evil 4. Along with a new trailer below, which showed the game running on a PlayStation 5, we have a release date: March 24, 2023. Yes, the “content” of PSVR2 is also under development. Its story is being reimagined a bit and will also hit PC and Xbox Series X / S.

The PSVR2 thread continued with a trailer for a PSVR2 version of Resident Evil Village. Lady D in virtual reality? This is Capcom giving fans what they want. Here is the trailer:

Hello Games has a PSVR2 version of No Man’s Sky in progress:

And, as expected, we saw a new trailer for the Horizon PSVR2 game from Guerrilla and Firesprite, Call of the Mountain (Guerrilla also announced a New Game Plus update for Forbidden West today).

Following the PSVR2 push, Sony briefly focused on the computer, confirming that a PC version of Insomniac’s Spider-Man will be released on August 12, 2022. Later, we also heard confirmation that Miles Morales will follow. Here is the trailer:

The Stray released by Annapurna comes out on July 19th and will also be part of the top levels of PlayStation Plus.

State of Play has released a trailer for the survival horror game similar to Dead Space The Callisto Protocol, and we have a release date: December 2, 2022.

Going forward, we have a trailer for Rollerdrome, which will be released on August 16:

Here is a trailer for the anime / dating simulator action game Eternights, which will be released in early 2023.

Here’s a big one: State of Play saw Capcom show Street Fighter 6, which revealed the new character Jamie alongside Ryu, Chun-Li and Luke. There’s a glimpse of a battle center, what looks like a Metro City exploration and a 2023 launch window. Capcom later confirmed that the PC and Xbox Series X / S versions are also on the way.

It was then confirmed that the wonderful Tunic will arrive on PlayStation 4 and 5 on September 27th.
