“Johnny said that when they were staying in Manchester, the fans crowded into the hotel and needed a police escort,” he said.
“As a result, they couldn’t eat out at all. I don’t think they wanted the same thing to happen in Birmingham.
“They spent a lot of money … but they didn’t even look at the bill. He gave a big tip.”

Hussain said the two bottles of the restaurant’s £ 7,500 Ace of Spades pink champagne had been drunk for Depp’s party. The bottles, given away at the restaurant when it opened six years ago but never sold, were special editions of 3 or 4.5 liters.

“He was very humble and stayed to talk and greet everyone,” Hussain said.
