Explosions have been heard as 60 firefighters are facing a large fire in a Wednesdaybury scrap yard. Nine firefighters and a large-volume bomb are at the scene on Queen Street, Moxley.
Nearby roads have been cut off as firefighters attend to the large fire. Feathers of smoke have been seen in the air miles away from the fire.
No one is believed to have been injured in the blaze or to have been rescued by firefighters. Police are assisting with roadblocks.

A West Midlands Fire Department spokeswoman said: “We had the first call at 6.24pm. We have nine bombs and a high volume bomb, about 60 firefighters.
“They are mainly vehicles involved in the fire. We will be at the scene for several hours.”
