The Warner Bros. saga. ‘ The upcoming Flash movie has been a long one, and in recent weeks much of it has revolved around its lead actor, Ezra Miller. Earlier this month, it was reported that despite Miller’s series of problems over the past two years, which include allegedly suffocating a fan and being arrested twice in Hawaii, WB planned to continue the film The Flash with Miller in the role, even while pausing other projects in which the actor was supposed to be involved. But as more press has come out about the 29-year-old non-binary actor, it looks like WB’s plans for the actor once Flash’s hits have changed.
Throughout the month of June, Miller has been beaten with allegations of harassment of a non-binary child to the point of receiving a temporary harassment order. Separately, Miller was also charged with brainwashing and fixing an 18-year-old North Dakota man named Tokata Iron Eyes, and in response cleared his social media presence, but not before allegedly posted a video mocking authorities seeking to give Miller the protection order. presented by Iron Eyes’ parents. During all this, Warner Bros. has remained silent, with Deadline stating that the initial plan of the study was to wait for things and wait for no more captivating complaints or news to appear. But now, sources say the plan has changed: regardless of more allegations, Miller will not return as Flash after The Flash.
Miller first joined the DC machine in 2016 with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and later joined the WB Fantastic Beasts franchise as one of its key characters. They have appeared throughout the tenure of both Beasts and other DCEU franchise films, and even had a brief cameo of Arrowverse. At this point, it doesn’t seem likely that WB will leave Miller completely and redo The Flash; On the one hand, it has been in development for a long time and has already cost a lot of money trying to see the light of day. It seems that WB has no plans to know who will take the golden wings and the red dress after the release of The Flash: right now, they just want to try to launch the thing on June 23, 2023 and go from there.
