Queen’s Jubilee: Meghan and Harry take their seats at St Paul’s

Fern Britton has shared her dismay at the apparent segregation of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations over the weekend.

The couple arrived at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday for Thanksgiving and were joined by Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

It was the first time Harry and his family had returned to the UK with their three-year-old son Archie and one-year-old daughter Lilibet since they left the royal office two years ago.

But not everything seemed easy, and presenter Fern, 64, used Twitter to share her feelings.

He pointed to Harry’s father, describing the awkward situation in which he saw the Sussex sitting apart from the working royal family as “worrying”.

After entering the cathedral, Harry and Meghan went to their seats in the second row, while Charles and William were placed on the other side.

And Fern attacked the situation by writing: “I understand all the protocols and” soft diplomacy “used by the royal family, but for the #POW [Prince of Wales] allowing Harry and Meghan to be so obviously segregated is worrisome.
