For the second week in a row, Formula 1 saw his fingers move, this time it was Fernando Alonso punishing Yuki Tsunoda.
The last time he came out in the British Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc was subjected to finger movement when the head of his Ferrari team, Mattia Binotto, tried to put him in line after a disappointing race for hope. of the championship.
Later, they both downplayed the moment with former F1 driver turned expert Jenson Button and noted that he is not waving a finger at a friend to “cheer them on”.
Alonso’s deception on Tsunoda was definitely not in line with the friendship, more punishment.
Running for the position at the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday, the Spaniard tried to overtake Tsunoda by the straight between curves 3 and 4.
The AlphaTauri rider pushed his alpine rival towards the edge of the track, Alonso putting a wheel on the grass at 300 km / h.
Despite the hairy moment, the Spaniard did not get up and seconds later advanced on Tsunoda, giving him the right finger movement in the process.
“I was on the grass, so I don’t know why he was pushing me so far,” the alpine rider said. “I was with the DRS on the pitch, in full force, and there was no way to defend.
“I was already elbow to elbow, so I don’t know.
“I think that kind of thing, it’s better to avoid it at 300 mph, but it was okay.”

Alonso finished the race in 10th place, scoring a single point while Tsunoda was P16, just ahead of Sebastian Vettel.
The AlphaTauri rider considers it to be his worst Grand Prix weekend of this championship, as his AT03 had no pace.
Both teammates failed to make it to Q3 on Friday evening, lost positions in Saturday’s speed race and, from there, were unable to recover in Sunday’s grand prix.
“It was tough, a very long race as I had no pace at all,” Tsunoda said on the official F1 website.
“I gave my all, but the situation has not improved and I have to move on.
“It has probably been the most difficult race week so far.
“The qualifying was good, but other than that, this race weekend was horrible.
“Hopefully this is the last time we end up like this, and hopefully from now on we can fight in a higher position.”
His teammate Pierre Gasly, involved in an incident with Vettel for which he was sanctioned, finished the race in 15th place.
