Golden Deer are a varied group, and their favorite classes reflect this. We will tell you the best class for each character.
With each character inside Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes being able to learn almost every class available, choosing the right one for the right person is not the easiest, and that is before you get to the inner struggle of what is most efficient and what would be the most fun. Sure, Lysithea may be the best in Magic, but seeing her walk in the Knight of the Fortress’s exaggerated armor is too good an opportunity to let her pass.
We will guide you through the best classes you should look for with each character to get the most out of their best innate stats and skills. However, we’ll also pick one or two more classes that you may not have considered for each character for a bit of fun.
Claude – Barbarroja
With all the Lord is easy because in Three hopes each has not one, but two unique classes. After the two-year time jump in Chapter 4, Claude will have the Wyvern Master Intermediate class, and from there the obvious path would be to Wyvern Rider, but don’t be fooled. This is an Ax-based class, so opt for Sniper instead of taking advantage of the bow, as her unique master class, Barbarossa, will also focus on that.
As for something you might not have considered, what about making Claude a Magician? He is a very intelligent character with an inquisitive nature, so he could appreciate learning black magic along the way.
Hilda – Mr. Wyvern
Hilda’s skills are quite simple. Despite being a total sloth, he handles the heaviest weapon possible and is extremely skilled. Giving him the ability to sit on a Wyvern and fly across the battlefield seems like his true final form, so who are we to deny him?
If you want to shake it up a bit, try Hilda as a Great Knight. He can still sit on a horse all day, but this makes use of his Heavy Armor skills as well as his Ax ability.
Lorenz – Dark Knight
Lorenz may seem stuck at first, and this attitude can be hard to look beyond, but you will see that his priorities are in the right place when it comes to the exercise of his duty. He is skilled with both magic and a spear, which makes the Dark Knight’s class an obvious choice for his magical abilities. That said, if you want something that fits your “noble” behavior, try the Holy Knight for a more glorious look.
Rafael – Master of war
There is no competition here, Raphael and his overly stout arms run across the battlefield crashing into everyone and all he sees is the purest expression of the joy that Fire Emblem has to offer. That said, I doubt you’ll be surprised to hear me say Grand Knight as a secondary option. With this structure, you probably don’t even need a horse to carry the weight of all that armor.
Ignatz – Knight of the bow
When it comes to archers, Bow Knight is the only option. The class was hilarious at Three Houses and while it’s not as good at Three Hopes, you won’t regret having a remote unit that can move as fast as lightning across the battlefield. If you want to make a change, then Ignatz seems like another prime candidate for magic. Although, unlike Claude, Ignatz would be more suited to white magic than anything more offensive.
Lysitea – Gremory
With female magic users, there is no competition when it comes to the best class. If Gremory wasn’t just for women, we’d recommend it to all male magic users as well. While Lysithea is the most expert in black magic, it is also worth training her as a white magician so that Gremory can bring out the best of both worlds.
As a secondary class, Lysithea has the slim and proper standards of a true knight, so you should take advantage of another women-only class, the Falcon Knight. The image of Lysithea riding a pure white peg is pretty powerful when you think about it.
Marianne – Gremory
Like Lysithea, there’s no reason not to go with Gremory for Marianne, just make sure you train her in both types of magic. For your high school class, you have two equally viable options. Although she doesn’t appear in Three Hopes, Marianne had knowledge of swords in Three Houses, so putting her in one of the magic / sword combination classes could be a lot of fun. Whether you prefer Trickster or Mortal Savant is up to you.
Leonie – Holy Knight
Leonie is a very simple character, so it’s no surprise that one of the simplest classes is her best. In addition, his mentor, Jeralt, is also a Holy Knight, so the two fit together perfectly. For high schoolers, Falcon Knight is an obvious choice, but if you want to go a little further, have him train with Ax to become a Wyvern Lord.
