Five teenagers have been arrested following an air gun incident in Ipswich.
Police have been called to Serpentine Road at 4.15pm this afternoon after a man reported being shot in the leg with a common air pistol.
Two women were also reported to have been hit by gunshots, one of them was injured.
All injuries are minor and no one has required hospital care.
Armed police and Norfolk and Suffolk Roads, as well as local officers, quickly arrived at the scene.
Four teenagers and one teenager were arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm.
They were all taken to Martlesham Police Station where they will be questioned.
A compressed air pistol was recovered at the scene.
Police believe it was a contained incident and that there is no threat to the community at large.
Police remain at the scene while the investigation continues.
The roads that were cut in the area have since been reopened.
Officers are asking witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Ipswich CID citing the reference to crime CAD 311 of 21 June.
