PRESS RELEASE: Fovno
Following last year’s launch of the world’s first electric bike carrier (N-Power), Fovno is now launching a completely new inverted design, the ES-H1B. The frame will be on display at this year’s Eurobike on 13 July (A23, Hall 9.1). This new design will be retailed for $ 295.
The inverted frame uses three suction cups; the two fronts are connected to each side of the bike handlebars, while the rear ones are mounted on the saddle. This three-pronged structure, along with the N-Power electrical control box and alarm system, is extremely stable and secure.
Unlike traditional suction cup roof frames that require removing the front wheel, the inverted design of the ES-H1B is simple and comfortable. You do not need to remove anything before riding the bike.
The core of the ES-H1B inverted frame is the N-Power control box, which weighs 650 grams. The control box includes a power button that, when pressed, instantly mounts the suction cups to your ceiling using an electronically operated air suction. The control box uses a 3400 mAh lithium battery and a Type C charging port, which allows for very fast charging. The system has an IP65 waterproof rating and will automatically close the suction cups again if pressure is lost.
At just 3.7kg, the new inverted frame weighs only a third of last year’s N-Power model (right). It is a small and portable machine perfect for traveling!
Before installing the inverted frame, first clean the roof of the car. Then simply place the suction cups on the ceiling and press the power button on the control box to make sure the pneumatic system is working properly. Place the alarm inside your car and connect it to the USB port on the center console. He then intentionally breaks the seal of one of the suction cups; if the system works properly and is ready for use, the alarm will sound and the control box will automatically close the leak again.
Once the bike is inverted on the roof (remember to avoid placing the suction cups on the joints of the sunroof windows or other uneven areas), connect the hoses to the control box and press the power button. In an instant, the three suction cups will be securely attached to the roof of the car.
Fovno will also soon launch an expansion package for this model that can ride multiple bikes.
If you are attending Eurobike this year, please stop by and check out the new ES-H1B!
