Insomniac’s critically acclaimed Marvel superhero game Spider-Man will hit PC on August 12, 2022.
As announced on PlayStation State of Play, the newest exclusive to the PlayStation console that will arrive on PC is Marvel’s Spider-Man. PlayStation Studios Nixxes helped bring the action game to the computer.
Sony has announced plans to double its efforts on PC after bringing games like God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn to PC. Uncharted Legacy of Thieves also hits PC and now it’s Spider-Man’s turn.
Marvel’s Spider-Man was released on PlayStation 4 in 2018. In 2020 a remastered version of the game was released for PlayStation 5 along with Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The story follows Peter Parker, who is at the peak of his Spider-Man career, but presents the origins of his iconic enemy, Doc Ock. A sequel was also announced, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for PlayStation 5.
