According to reports, Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué is fully focused on returning in time for the pre-season, as he is more motivated after his break-up with singer Shakira.

Piqué, who continues with a contract at the Camp Nou until the summer of 2024, missed the last weeks of the season after the exacerbation of his tendinopathy in the adductor muscle of his left thigh against Mallorca.

The 35-year-old is already fully focused on returning in time for the pre-season on July 4, as he continues his rehabilitation from the injury that ended the season prematurely, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Coach Xavi will look forward to having the World Cup winner at his disposal along with the rest of his defensive options, including new signing Andreas Christensen.

The 45-year-old Colombian singer confirmed that she is no longer with her 35-year-old footballer, after a relationship of 11 years and two children together.
Shakira ‘s statement read: “We regret to confirm that we are separated.
“For the well-being of our children, which is our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
The couple had been together since 2011, and the couple had met while filming the music video for their 2010 World Cup song Waka Waka the year before.
