The other day, it was revealed that James Turner had left Game Freak and was developing a brand new game, in his brand new studio. Things seem to be going beyond what we thought, as the game has already been announced and will arrive in 2023. It’s time to get to know The Plucky Squire.
The game takes control of a character named Jot, and with that control they take you on a magical adventure through the pages of a storybook. However, over time things change and Humgrump, the evil villain actually realizes that he is the bad guy, changes the story, leaving the pages of the book.
Jump between 2D and 3D worlds in this enchanting action adventure: solve puzzles, box badgers, fly with a jetpack and enjoy many smaller delicious and amazing challenges as you become the hero of a living storybook.
The game will arrive in 2023 on Switch and other platforms.
