Nat Eddleston was left fighting for his life in intensive care in March after being hit by a car.
He suffered a fractured neck and back, two collapsed lungs and needed a life support machine after the collapse of terror.
At one point it was feared that Nat, about 30, could be brain-injured, but fans of Channel 4 and Ellie will be delighted to see him standing and shopping.
Ellie’s boyfriend, who had recently moved to the hairdresser’s, wore a padded hooded sweatshirt with a soft material while a halo hug rested on his shoulders.

He went shopping before walking around with two grocery bags.
Ellie, who appears on Channel 4 alongside her sister Izzi, recently broke her silence about Nat’s accident in Leeds, where she had been drinking with friends at her local pub in Halton.
In early May, he posted a message on Facebook saying: “For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations from Headway, the brain injury association.

Ellie, who has been on the show since 2015, was told to take as much time as needed and, on her return two weeks ago, said, “I look forward to returning to your screens tonight!
“Thank you for all the good wishes, we are very grateful that things are back to normal.”

Nat has appeared on Gogglebox in the past, where his girlfriend Ellie and 29-year-old sister Izzi star on the couch.
During a recent episode, Ellie hints that Nat is her lover forever, as she talks about her plans to marry him.
She said, “I told Nat this morning, when we got married, what kind of wedding do you want? And he said, ‘A wedding with a shotgun!'” Ellie remembered Sister Izzi.

She continued, “So I said ‘ooo does that mean you want me to get pregnant before we get married?’ and he said “no.” In fact, I want to know what he thought was a shotgun wedding.
Ellie went on to call Nat to ask him to explain, and Nat admitted that he thought the term meant that the groom was “forced to marry,” with the two sisters laughing at his revelation.
