On Sunday, June 12, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Hamilton police responded to a shooting that had just taken place in the Hess Street North and Market Street area.
Police can confirm that a shooting occurred and two victims were found with minor injuries.
The Criminal Investigation Section of the First Division is in charge of the investigation. Hamilton police are asking area residents to check their security surveillance cameras between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. for any suspicious activity and contact the police. Detectives are also asking if you are driving around the area and have images from the script camera that would be suitable for review, please contact the investigators.
