Eels star Nathan Brown acknowledged that the last month has been “very tough” after returning to the first division on Saturday against the Tigers.
Brown, who has played 129 NRL games and has twice been a New South Wales representative, was down on the reserve note in round 15.

Around the same time it was revealed that the Eels had given permission to the 29-year-old to talk to rival clubs about an immediate release despite being hired until the end of 2023.
Brown was a late addition to Parramatta’s 17 after Ryan Matterson was ruled out due to a rib injury.
“It’s okay to come back,” Brown said News Corp..
“The legs don’t feel bad at all. I always want to play first grade. I liked.”

Brown revealed that coach Brad Arthur hasn’t told him much and when asked if he was clear about his future he said, “Nothing at the moment.”

“It’s been really tough,” Brown said of his time in the NSW Cup.
“I would be lying if I said it’s not hard, but it’s a foot. You have to deal with it.
“(Arthur) hasn’t said much, to be honest.”

Brown played 38 minutes from the bench, finishing with 88 running yards, one touchdown and 21 innings with four fouls.
He has been linked with the Tigers, with whom he made his NRL debut in 2013, and the Dragons.
