The trial of Canadian musician Jacob Hoggard for sexual assault will resume in Toronto on Tuesday.
The Crown finished presenting its evidence earlier last week and the defense is expected to start arguing.
Hoggard, the leader of the BC-born Hedley gang, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual interference, one count of sexual intercourse of a person under the age of 16. years.
The charges relate to events involving two whistleblowers, one of whom was a teenager at the time.
Prosecutors allege that Hoggard arranged for the complainants to find him in hotels in the Toronto area, where he alleges that he repeatedly raped them, leaving them bleeding and bruising.
Meanwhile, the defense argues that Hoggard had consensual sex with the complainants.
