Here are the schools in Ottawa that will be closed on Friday due to the storm

Several Ottawa schools will remain closed for the fourth day in a row as cleanup continues after last weekend’s heavy storm.

While schools with electricity are open for learning, schools without electricity will remain closed until electricity is restored.

Parents, guardians and students are asked to consult the Ottawa Student Transportation Association website for more information on bus cancellations.

OTTAWA CARLETON DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD

The Ottawa Public School Board says 20 schools will remain closed Friday because the building has no electricity.

  • Sir Winston Churchill

OTTAWA CATHOLIC SCHOOL BOARD

The following Ottawa Catholic School Board schools do not have hydraulics and will remain closed on Friday.

  • Sacred Heart
  • Sant Andreu
  • St. Daniel
  • Santa Gemma
  • St. Gregory
  • Sant Isidor
  • Sant Leonard
  • St. Michael’s (Ottawa)
  • Santa Monica
  • Santa Ria

EASTERN PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD

The Ottawa French Public School Board says the following schools will close on Friday because they do not yet have electricity:

  • Charlotte Lemieux
  • Marie Curie
  • Omer Deslauriers

The three closed schools will not offer e-learning.

The rest of the schools and their childcare services will be open as usual
